“Stayed here family of four, we had an offer for two nights, £260 this included £35 each for two people for a meal plus a bottle of wine!!! Included breakfast for two each day too!! Such good value, we swam one day which is free, you can charge ya cars here too, plenty of normal parking, outside areas are nice, everything is kept clean and tidy, food was really nice, we had cheeseburger and my wife had salmon, no complaints at all, breakfast decent, for our two teenage boys, overall it only ended costing us £44 extra which included their meals, breakfast etc,, so well priced, unless they made a mistake??? Would happily stay again. Close by is Gloucester quays and Cotswold retail park, went to Gloucester quays, nice surroundings, loads of places to eat, few decent shops,”

“I stayed here on a two night break using a Travelzoo voucher. It was a great deal. I do love the Cotswolds and it was a chance to visit some places I visited in my late teenage years. The food at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was good. The dinner service was a little slow though. Overall, the staff were so courteous and polite and a credit to the hotel's team. My main gripe was that we came when the hotel was undergoing some renovation. Some of the chemicals used to apply the flooring left an unpleasant smell in our room ( that was the conclusion given to me by your reception staff who investigated). I really think you should not let guests use these rooms until they are fully aired. I had asked if the housekeeping staff could use air fresheners while we were out all day but we returned to the same smell. I was told that wasn't allowed due to potential allergies. Although we were given the choice of moving rooms, by this stage, we did not want the hassle. Otherwise the rooms were large and comfortable with a mini bar, decent flat screen TV on which we could watch iPlayer. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless! I would definitely stay again!”
